Prenatal CNV Analysis (Dual PCR-Based) is a quantitative, duplex PCR method developed for the confirmation of copy number variations identified through chromosomal microarray (CMA), next-generation sequencing (NGS), or for targeted testing of known familial CNVs. By simultaneously amplifying both the target genomic region and a stable reference gene in the same reaction, the assay provides a reliable internal control and accurate measurement of copy number changes.
This test is suitable for prenatal samples, including chorionic villus sampling (CVS) and amniotic fluid, and is particularly useful in confirming suspected pathogenic CNVs or providing rapid, cost-effective targeted analysis.
