The Somatic Solid Tumor Panel conducts comprehensive sequencing of 145 essential cancer genes, detecting critical short variants like single nucleotide variants (SNVs) and insertions/deletions (Indels), as well as copy number variations (deletions and amplifications) and selected gene fusions. This panel is designed to identify somatic mutations—tumor-specific genetic changes—to uncover the drivers behind cancer progression and metastasis. Unlike standard tissue biopsies, liquid biopsy requires only a blood sample, minimizing patient discomfort and risk. By allowing for continuous monitoring of tumor changes and treatment response, it provides an extensive analysis of both DNA and RNA, yielding a more complete genetic profile of the tumor.
