The GI Comprehensive Panel is an NGS-based multigene assay that analyzes a broad spectrum of genes associated with inherited gastrointestinal disorders. The panel supports the diagnosis of patients with unexplained gastrointestinal symptoms, early-onset or familial gastrointestinal diseases, recurrent or chronic pancreatitis, hereditary colorectal cancer syndromes, gastrointestinal polyposis, inflammatory bowel diseases, and other inherited digestive disorders.
The panel includes genes associated with hereditary pancreatitis, such as PRSS1, SPINK1, CFTR, CTRC, CPA1, CASR, and other clinically relevant pancreatic disease genes, enabling comprehensive evaluation of patients with recurrent acute pancreatitis, chronic pancreatitis, or suspected inherited pancreatic disorders.
